Important Dates and Times:

  • Wednesday 31st October 2007 10:00-11:00 (AEST)
    - Test WebTrain session.
    To allow you to test your connection to WebTrain.
    Participation is optional but highly recommended.
    Prior to participating in this test, please see the WebTrain website for more information, and to confirm that you will be able to access the conference from your network. You may wish to make alternative arrangements with your network administrator if you are having difficulties regarding firewall restrictions.

  • Tuesday 23rd October 2007 - 17:00 (AEST)
    - Final Date for Payments.
    - Course materials sent to participants via email when payment is received. All required documents will also be available for download from the training course messageboard on our website.
    - Login details for live online audio/visual conference presentation sent to participants via email.
    - Messageboard available to post questions/comments.

    Friday 2nd November 2007 - 09:00-12:30 (AEST)

Training Concludes:

  • Friday 9th November 2007 - 17:00 (AEST)
    - Online Training concludes.
    - Messageboard de-activated.

Preparation for the course:

  • In preparation for the course, please ensure that you will be able to access our online video conference.

  • We will be using the WebTrain online audio/visual conferencing product. Please see the WebTrain website for more information, and to confirm that you will be able to access the conference from your network. You may wish to make alternative arrangements with your network administrator if you are having difficulties regarding firewall restrictions. Feel free to email me if you have any difficulties and we will endeavor to sort them out before training commences.

  • You can view the WebTrain participant tutorial on the WebTrain website. Go to the "HOW TO..." tab and select "Participant Tutorials" for operation of the WebTrain software, and "Other Tuturials" for information regarding audio settings and requirements.

  • For the video conference, if it is highly recommended that you have speakers/headphones on your computer, or you won't be able to hear Mark Gurry or the other participants. There will however be a text chat facility, but audio is not transferred to text so you may miss important information.

  • If you are not able to listen to the audio via your PC WebTrain session, we will provide you with a conference call dial-in number so that you can listen to the audio over standard telephone lines. However it is recommended that you try to use the WebTrain audio where possible, so that the audio properly syncronizes with the visual presentation.

  • During question time, you may ask questions using the text chat facility.

  • An updated version of Internet Explorer and the most current Active X is also recommended for use with the WebTrain software. These can be found at www.windowsupdate.com. Any other text chatting applications such as ICQ or Instant Messenger or software firewalls should be turned off.

  • If you have difficulties please ensure the following:
    - Use Internet Explorer as your browser (not Netscape) on a PC not a Macintosh.
    - Close down all other programs on your computer such as any graphics, video or audio programs like Windows Media Player etc.

Deliverables:

  • Your own personal copy of MGA's performance tuning and monitoring solution - MGA EagleEye

  • All course materials will be delivered electronically

Cost:

We will provide you with an email copy of the receipt as soon as payment is confirmed, and send you the original in the mail. Your login for attendance will not be provided until your payment has been received.

Payment via Bank Transfer / Direct Debit:
This means that you transfer money directly from your bank account to our bank account.

AUSTRALIAN Training Course:
$710 AUD per person including personal MGA EagleEye licence.

Cancellations:

No cancellations can be made after the payment due date of Tuesday 23rd October 2007 - 17:00 (AEST).

Cancellations prior to this date will incur a fee of US$30 per attendee cancellation.
